Thermal Forming Tubing Machines
SaberMD's Tubing Thermal Forming Machine (TTFM) was developed to thermally form the ends of polymer medical tubing. The Tubing Thermal Forming Machine is incredibly easy to operate, using a (PID) temperature controller with auto tuning and a programmable logic controller (PLC), with foot and button activation, for cooling after formation. The ease of use of SaberMD's TTFM is sure to increase efficiency and productivity. Some of the benefits of SaberMD's tubing thermal forming machine include: A wide temperature range up to 700 Degrees Fahrenheit, 2 manual operated air cooling ports, 3 tip forming ports, custom colors, custom dies and mandrels to customer specifications, individual air cooling rings with air flow valves, rugged design using anodized aluminum and stainless steel hardware, simplified set-up that is repeatable and easy to document, space saving design which requires only one square foot of space, and a versatility allowing for various production design applications.

Tubing Grinding Machines
The Tubing Tip Grinding Machine (TGM) was developed to grind tapers and steps into polymeric medical tubing. The TGM is fully adjustable for ease of set-up and consistent quality and reliability. Some of the TGM's key features include variable speed control up to 5100 RPMs, 360 degree swivel plates, and a movable base plate. In addition, the tubing grinding machine has a rugged design, using anodized aluminum and stainless steel hardware. Tubing grinding machines manufactured by SaberMD also offer: A fully compatible 3 or 4 inch wheel in addition to custom wheels and hubs, X-Y slides with adjustable 2 inch travel, +/- 45 degree compound angle adjustment, adjustable air nozzle with shut-off valves, safety guard with vacuum port, a bench top shop vacuum, optional drill chucks, versatility allowing for product development, and a space saving design that only requires 2 feet of shop space.Tubing Skive Machines
SaberMD's Tubing Skive Machine (TSM) was developed to allow the user to create accurate, precise, and repeatable semi-circular "skive" cuts into polymeric medical tubing. The unique design of the tubing Skive Machine is operator friendly with a single foot switch to activate the cutting (skiving) cycle. Machine installation and set-up is extremely easy, simply requiring the user to adjust the two precision slides and one "skive" locater pin to adjust the skive size. The various features and benefits of the Tubing Skive Machine include: Custom colors, long life, pneumatic power, precision linear slides with a 0.001" resolution, rugged design using clean and sealed anodized surfaces, simplified set-up that is repeatable and easy to document, space saving design requiring only 1 square foot of area, speedy cycle times, surgical cutting blades , unique "Guide Block" design to secure the tube for precise cutting every time, and a versatility allowing for use in product design applications.
Vacuum Molds
Vacuum Forming Molds; the process includes heating cut-to-size sheets in ovens which use gas heaters with zone controls to ensure an accurate environment and sheet temperature. After heating, the sheet is then placed into a mold and a vacuum is used to manipulate the sheet and conform it to the shape of the mold. Vacuum molds are popular for both large and small parts and offer a very low tooling cost and increased cycle time. SaberMD offers both thin gauge vacuum molds and heavy gauge vacuum molds.
